Single in Seattle

If you are from Seattle... you've probably heard of the Seattle freeze. I can see how this could be true.. due to the fact that having grown up in the area I am one of those people who tend to hang out with the same friends I've known for years. However, if you ask me how this is going as far as my dating life. Not well.

Same people usually means same activities, same bars, same everything because you are comfortable. Which isn't a bad thing. Hell, I've been doing this for years. But it has dawned on me that doing the same thing might be getting the same result. Hence why I've essentially been single for ... oh dear lord let's not even count. Which is why I decided to start documenting my Single in Seattle status.

If you know me. You know I hate the idea of online dating apps. Here's what could go wrong:

1- You are picking them pretty much based solely on looks. So what if they have the world's scariest personality.

2- SVU episode. A girl. Alone. Meeting a stranger.

3- You have trouble even finding the person at the restaurant because they look nothing like their photos.

4- They are rude.

5- It's awkward.

6- Your tired from work and just want to watch Netflix.

7- And finally you are hoping for that guy riding up on a white horse and instead you had to pick 'em on your phone... and its just not romantic and come ON. I want the Notebook.

End rant.

But my parents aren't getting any younger. I'm not getting any younger. And I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't want to watch my shitty Netflix shows with a buddy. So here it goes. I will be documenting the journey. With 'fake' names for the guys. Gosh hopefully its just 'guy' who turns into husband. But doubtful haha. So here goes nothing.

First up. Let's call him 'Tall' guy. I'm only 5'3 and should probably balance out my shortness anyways. So here it goes.
